Iguazu!

Chickos,

after my last (I hope) long bus journey - 19 hours I finally arrived to "my destination" here - Puerto Iguazu. My first impression: this city is just for the tourists visiting the waterfalls, no true life here. I was told that by couple of guys in Buenos Aires, actually I think it´s not so bad....
I visited the Brazilian part straight away. It was spectacular!! Much more than I expected. You know how important Iguazu was for me, how many expectations I had before and for how long I was waiting and looking forward to seeing it...It was much more, already on the first day!!! The energy of this waterfall (or waterfalls, as there are many of them here) is something I cannot describe, you need to see, or better feel it by yourself!!!

On the way back I met Angela,a Colombian girl and...we danced Salsa on the street in front of the buses!! Yeah, I love Salsa!

On the second day I had a lot of time time for the more spectacular - Argentinian part incl. "the devil´s throat" from above...

So I got up at 6 a.m., got ready and started my trip! Took a bus, then a train within a natural park and, as a second person, I arrived to see a devil´s throat, which I had almost for myself for 5 minutes! Spectacular is not enough!

Then, completely wet, I started exploring the rest of waterfalls, which took, more or less, 8 hours. I met - Julie who accompanied me for the rest of the day.

We´ve seen very many beautiful butterflies, ate lunch looking at the waterfalls, had lot´s of fun and finally came back to the hostel like 5 p.m. Now, enjoying one more day of holiday here - swimming pool, good food, good fun!

Amazing, no comments, need to say that my intuition was right regarding this place. Lot´s of water, lot´s of good feelings, lot´s of unbelievable views, lot´s of impressions and inspirations!

Yeahhhhh!!!!! IGUAZU - an absolute highlight of South America!

I´m going to Asuncion, flying to Bogota on Sunday, it´s very probable I will meet Calvin there, he seems to be a true Colombian right now!

Will keep you informed.

Saludos,

me.

p.s. Thanks to small guys, I discovered a sport I didn´t know before - I call it body surfing...Imagine small guys in the rain, first running then going vertically on their bodies with their hands up on this surface. WOW!!!!
