Chickos!
This was a greatest time of this journey, we did a Christmashare action (one of the biggest time I´ve ever had...), you can check details at www.christmashare.blogspot.com.
Besides I met Marco and Steven again, what was great!
We also visited traces from dinosaurs (the biggest traces in the world! Now also supported by Unesco)and Mercado Campesino, where you can find completely everything -from clothes, food to natural medicines (I bought some great tea).
By the way: check this picture out - one of the most interesting and funny thing on my journey:)
Then we moved to Potosi, where I was supposed to spend only couple of hours and go straight to Tupiza, but due to engine break of my bus I stayed a night and visited the famous mines here. It was a very nice experience - from the miners market, through mines to dynamite detonation. I must admit, the miners are more than human beings...I saw a movie (in Sucre) about a 14 years old boy who worked there for 4 years already. It´s really amazing how much people can do for there families...The miners, due to serious lung deseases, live until they are 35-40. This mountain has already sacrified 8 million people. Amazing. Maybe it´s a kind of message from "the mother earth" that she can give us food pretty easily, but we don´t really need silver, gold, diamonds etc...
Anyway, I left Potosi and now am in Salta - Argentina, where I´m gonna spend NYE and, later on, am going to Buenos Aires.
Santence of the week: "que me importa la vida escorta"!
Will keep you informed.
Saludos!
me.
